Dr Nazim Shah, Dentist
Nazim graduated from Queen Mary’s University and is passionate about delivering high-quality dentistry.
He spends time getting to know his patients and has a very caring and friendly manner.
In his spare time, Nazim enjoys reading fiction novels and playing cricket.
Dr Priyen Shah, Dentist
Priven graduated from Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry and spent some time working in the Scottish Highlands.
He loves transforming people’s smiles and takes great pride in looking after people that perhaps haven’t been to a dentist in a long time and giving them the smiles they always wanted.
Priyen is great with our nervous patients, winning them over with his warm and kind nature. In his spare time, Priyen enjoys hill walking and fishkeeping.
Dr Mubbassir Waraich, Dentist
BDS University of Manchester
Mubbassir qualified from the University of Manchester in 1985 and was awarded the Farar Prize in Prosthodontics. He started working at St Mary’s Place in 1986 and has been here ever since. He also works at County Hospital in Stafford and has done so for over 20 years.
He is a Dentist with a special interest in Orthodontics and currently has restricted his practice exclusively to Orthodontics both for the NHS and Privately. He is very passionate about dentistry and believes in maintaining and developing his skills. He uses the most appropriate treatments to achieve the best possible results.
He has an excellent reputation for offering a fantastic orthodontic service. Mubbassir is described by all as being very warm and gentle.

Katherine Key, Head Receptionist
Katherine is our happy and friendly receptionist! She particularly enjoys meeting the patients and caring for them throughout their dental journey.
Whilst being at the practice she has extended our communication services by implementing social media outlets like Facebook and Instagram and helped design our new website.
In her spare time, she enjoys working out at the gym and spending time with her parents and grandparents working with the animals on their farms.
Dental Nurses
Sneha Rai, Head Dental Nurse

Sneha has been working as a Dental Nurse with us since November 2019. She completed her National Diploma in Dental Nursing from Harriet Ellis and is GDC registered.
She thoroughly enjoys nursing alongside the team here at St. Mary’s and is very enthusiastic about gaining more knowledge and experience as she progresses.
In her spare time, she enjoys cooking and painting and she also loves indoor plants.
Tamzin Smith, Apprentice Dental Nurse
Tamzin is currently a Trainee Dental Nurse at St Mary's Dental Practice, she joined the team in 2021. She really enjoys her role and has learned a lot of new skills. She is a bubbly outgoing person, with lots of confidence.
Her hobbies include meeting with friends, holidays, especially in Marbella, and spending time with family. She also has a passion for beauty, including make up, eyebrows and hair.
Adriana Popa, Apprentice Dental Nurse
Adriana has been part of the team since December 2021, and loves learning more about the role all the time.
She enjoys getting to know staff and patients alike, and loves working with and supporting other members of the team.
Outside of working life, Adriana loves interior design, arts & crafts, playing tennis and spending quality time with her family.
